Seriously. It is absolutely dangerous to go the 45mph speed limit they have up there even after they’ve reportedly started handing out warning tickets. Last time I drove up that way I was going 50mph in the right most lane the entire construction zone and I have never white knuckled a drive more than that. I’m not going to go faster and get a ticket because of everyone else but I’m also sure as hell not going to get ran off the road trying to follow the rules either. The best bet might be to avoid this whole area until it’s all said and done…

FWIW, I go up and down 69 from 71st to 116th M-F for work, I drive the same speed as everyone else which is just as fast as before those warnings went up, and I haven’t received any tickets. While I’m sure it would be simple enough for them to automate such a system and rack up fines, they don’t seem to be doing so. I’m not sure they actually even have the necessary equipment in place.

Obligatory IANAL, this is not legal advice.

Maybe they’re being selective about who they’re sending them out to, but I’ve seen other people on other sites posting photos of mail they’ve received regarding speeding in this section of 465. There’s definitely cameras out there, but maybe they’re not taking action against everyone

Maybe it’s only being enforced on 465 and not 69 even though 69 in that area has signs for the same thing? idk I find it hard to believe I’d be lucky enough not to be ticketed at this point if they were doing so for that section of 69.

Thanksgiving, I was driving home to ft Wayne and going 66, 11mph above the posted limit. And I was getting my doors blown off. Both sides, it was insane

Yeah, a lot of other drivers do not care at all about the reduced speed and are still going 75+ through there
