Hello… new Linux convert here, mostly been using the web interface (alexandrite) and Connect on my phone. But I’m wondering what’s good on Linux. I’m on Arch btw, lol. :P thanks!
EDIT: ok, sounds like browser it is. Thanks all!
I don’t appify any web based app on Linux. Apps are for mobile. I use my Linux computers with fully fledged programs, including my web browser program.
I’m pretty sure noone here uses any kind of application specifically made for Lemmy on the computer. Everyone uses the web interface.
I just use my web browser (librewolf)

+1 for both photon and voyager
Old.lemmy.world is pretty neat on all browsers. Or piefed
I understand why, but that’s not my preference. I use the normal interface for Lemmy, and the old version for Reddit.
Old Reddit because the redesign just seems like a pseudo-Tiktok hole full of ads. Lemmy, however, does not have that problem, and using the “old reddit” style would be a downgrade on features.
I used to use New Reddit before it got really bad, so I like the “Old New Reddit” style.
I looked for one a while ago and didn’t find one. Luckily the web apps available are really good. Tesseract is one that works well with a mouse and a wide screen.
Fedora user, btw…I use the Alexandrite Web Interface too; I haven’t found a good app based interface for Lemmy on PC. Mobile phones are spoiled for choice with clients for Lemmy, Mastodon, Fediverse related sites.
Right on, thanks!
