It doesn’t hurt to start stocking up on masks while they’re readily available. If I remember correctly, there was a shortage of N95 masks and other PPE early on during the COVID lockdown.
You remember VERY correctly. Since then, we’ve brought back at least some PPE manufacturing to be domestic, but it likely won’t be enough for the initial consumer run to empty the shelves and scalp them for $10 a mask.
