      Good idea. Fortunately, I live close to many farms and can buy direct from reputable farmers outside of the typical US supply chain.

        That’s dope. I’m especially careful about pork I buy due to pigs’ intelligence, and the beef we get around here is amazing and comes from very happy cows. Wish I could say I were truly outta that supply chain though.

          Yeah, it is hard to be completely out of the supply chain. I’m even retired right now and it’s a lot of work. But, it does feel (and taste) a lot better eating animals that you know have been humanely treated their whole lives.
