Thought it’d get appealed and bumped down to 2. Guess I was wrong.

    Should have read the article before posting. TL;DR The NFL controls all gambling suspensions and as such Jamo’s does not fall under the NFLPA bargain suspension policy and is basically whatever the NFL says it is.

    It’s heavy handed, but I understand. It’s a shit scenario, but it will pass.

    I might be a homer here, but the impression that I get about the culture of the team, is that Brad Homes is drafting and acquiring good players who also bring solid character and leadership. Between the shock of the suspension, and the culture that has been cultivated within the organization, I don’t anticipate hearing about nonsense or bad conduct off the field from the Lions anytime soon.

    Makes sense that he wouldn’t appeal if he can’t appeal. Gambling is gambling, but I still think it’s wack that he was one of the first targeted with this
