I just installed the new beta DuckDuckGo browser on my Windows machine. I want to create a desktop shortcut icon for it, but I can’t find where the executable is stored. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or give me another way to accomplish this?
Click Start and go to All Apps. Find the program you want to create a desktop shortcut to and right-click on it. Click Send to and you’ll see various destinations, one being Desktop (create Shortcut). Clicking on this will then make a shortcut on the Desktop.
If you press the keys: “Win+R” and input “explorer shell:AppsFolder” (no quotes).
It should open a folder with all the installed apps (i think those that are in the start menu), you can find the duckduckgo browser in there, right click and create shortcut.
