    Given who’s doing the talking, I wouldn’t be surprised if that overseas buyer turns out to be Russia or Iran or something…

      Those countries are big oil producers, even with the beating that Russia’s infrastructure has taken lately. I don’t see why they’d be buying oil.

    Good. If you’re gonna produce oil, it might as well be going elsewhere than the US.
    Ideally, I’d rather the planet consume less of it and minimize its transport and potential leaks and spills, but not dealing with the US is a sound option. Unless the overseas buyer is another fascist shitshow.

    lets use that money to invest in green energy production in alberta to lessen dependance on global oil markets.

    like the NDP tried to before the cons cut that programs years ago.

    playing catch up because cons cut investments early before fruition is the funnest thing ever and makes total sense, right guys?
