    Fun fact! A weather prediction of “90% precipitation” DOES NOT mean that there is a 10% chance it won’t rain at all

    Instead it means that “we predict 90% of the area covered by this forecast will experience rainfall at this time, but we don’t know exactly which 90%”

    So y’all are pretty fucked unless it’s a 1hr 90% window surrounded by 0% windows, and you’re lucky enough to have the 10% with no rain include the track

    Monkey’s paw curls: race is red flagged for two hours as the FIA wait for the rain to subside. Stroll crashes behind safety car as a rolling start is attempted and the FIA concludes raceable conditions won’t occur within the 3-hour timeframe so the race is cancelled.

        I don’t know how you even country without arbitrary units based on a dead monarch’s perceptions of themselves and the world around them.
