The Eagles have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with running back AJ Dillon, according to multiple reports.
Hope his neck is ok. Dude is an absolute beast if used properly. Which 9 times out of 10 MLF didn’t do.
He needs a running start to get momentum. Start him from the shotgun formation and he’s screwed. QB starts under center and he’s got the 2 to 3 steps he needs.
Which means this is a terrible signing for the Eagles. Up until this season Hurts was exclusively a shotgun player. Moore added a bit of under center formations but I doubt a first time OC is going to be innovative
I think the league is going to ban the 1 yard tush push the Eagles like to use so much. Signing him for exclusive 1 yard runs would make sense if that’s the case.
