Fantastic movie! I’ve been righting one of my cinema sins by finally viewing this trilogy of films by Rob Zombie. I’m planning on watching 3 From Hell tomorrow to cap it off, and judging by how good the first 2 were I’m excited.

    I enjoyed it as well. You could really tell he was coming into his own, stylistically, with The Devil’s Rejects as opposed to the homage-esque House of 1000 Corpses.

    I enjoyed them both, but TDR is definitely the better of the two films.

    I disliked the campiness and how far off the rails 1000 corpses went by the end of it, but seriously love the devil’s rejects. Something about it’s grittiness and grounded approach with caricature-level protagonists elevated it beyond any other film RZ has done.
