I can easily imagine him thinking “I’m not directly hurting them, I’m only hurting other people. Why are they overreacting when they’re not the ones being hurt? Don’t they see that by hurting these nig… Nigerians, I’m helping them?”
He’s right that nothing he has done has hurt me directly. But, I have that fundamental weakness of empathy, so the fact that he’s hurting so many other people means that I think the world would be better off if he were dead.
