I assume the weight is saved with lightweight motor and battery, from the look of it the brake system shave not much weight but i assume they want something new with better stopping power or integrating that with the motor? Caliper looks very different and i don’t see any chance of it being retrofit with common part without being crafty by adding a bracket.
