Honestly love Lemmy. I played with it a couple months ago and fell out because the other was great, but, I love it now that there are more people. I even host my own Instance and made a new Community for GMRS radios. Now if only people would join lol
Oh is that anyhow related to LoRa radios? I’m not too in the know about the different types of amateur radio out there. Always been interested in HAM radio, but haven’t really learned much about any of it. Link your community!
Not really related to LoRa GMRS is basically a suped up walkie talkie it’s $35 for a license that you can share with your family. We use it around the farms and I’m working on a repeater network that will cover most of the west side of my.state connected over a Mumble server so we can extend range indefinitely

Oh, that’s very cool. Seems extremely useful in areas with no cell coverage, or if that were to go down.
