One of the men goes for her phone. The other grabs at her hands. Ozturk screams. Shock and fear ripple through her voice. Two masked women join them, tugging at her backpack, peeling the straps from her shoulders. “I’m going somewhere, I need to call someone,” she pleads. “We’re the police. Relax,” one of the men says in response.

They surround her. Then, one by one, they pull their neck gaiters up to cover their faces. “You don’t look like police,” a voice off screen says. “Why are you hiding your faces?” The questions continue, but the figures don’t respond. Instead, they cuff Ozturk, cross the street, and put her in an unmarked SUV. She is gone.

What would happen to a bystander who physically intervened, but then was overwhelmed? Could they be get assaulting a federal officer charge, or would that be dropped because they do not show proper identification? Asking for humanity

      Yes.

Remember, the Nazis executed a college girl, by beheading, for handing out flyers.

Brown shirts would kill Jews on the streets.

ICE has been turned into the SS.

MAGAts are Nazis, expect them to behave like Nazis.

Man Nazi Germany had so many different evil groups it’s hard to remember who did what. Yes, gestapo is probably more accurate though

They didnt have many. Gestapa/Gestapo, Wehrmacht (land military) , SS, Hitlerjugend (HJ), Bund deutscher Mädel (BDM), SA (defunkt after power take over), Luftwaffe (airforce), Reichsmariene (Navy)

Thats basicly all. And yes the military is as guilty as the rest!

The Gestapo was the (secret) police. While the SS was a military group for all kinds of things. But they shot first, ask questions later

No. The SA was the paramilitary dirt boys for the dirty work before they got into power. SA stands for Sturmabteilung. Their job was intimidation and roughening up other politicians.

The SS were the nutcases that were used in all kinds of things. Inner security, in military battle, assisting the genocide, helping the gestapo, aso SS stands for Schutzstaffel. As in protection of the Reich

Like you said one became the other as essentially disenfranchised Germans after world sanctions in the treaty of Versailles.

If you put a gun in a starving man’s hand and point it at a meal they’ll shoot or becoming anything every time

The SA didnt become the SS. The SS also existed at the same time as the SA but the SA and all part of it got murdered in the night of the long knife.

The german civilians back then had a choice. They werent forced until the very end. They all knew what they got into and what they will with the nazis before they took power. Many chose resistence. Later chanclor Willy Brandt being a good example. All the students that gave their life for the resistance.

The nazi party got banned for a while but as they got unbanned and were tried to get them re banned it was determined by the conservatives them being too powerful now and rather should be rained in politicly, they thought they could control hitler. Ach Paul von Pappen and von Hindenburg, the later even once being ally of hitler for a while.

They would for sure catch charges. The days of having to do something illegal in order to be convicted are behind us. If the MAGAstappo get their way the only remaining function of the judicial system will be as a cudgel against their enemies.

If you got physical before they identified as police they would subdue you and then identity. That’s why there’s 8 of them for one arrest.

I think you’d have a good chance of getting off the numerous charges against you after sitting in jail and incurring thousands in legal fees.

would that be dropped because they do not show proper identification

They have badges on, so I would guess they would get an assaulting a federal office charge yeah.
