“Flew off the handle” is a pretty wildly inaccurate way to describe what I wrote but since lemmy’s mods are becoming increasingly Reddit-like in their moderating I guess we’ll just have to live in a world where we can’t ask people if they’re posting in earnest or being little shits without them freaking out.
Why do assume that people are being little shits? Why do you assume that people are freaking out? If your impressions of people around you tend to be negative, your going to live a life always in the defensive and always apprehensive of peoples motivations. That sounds to me like a very difficult life. You might be a faceless stranger to me, but I do truly hope the best for you.

I dont have such a detailed understanding of what is considered anime or not.
