Speaking from experience, the Epoch Times is an incredibly questionable source. They regularly publish conspiracy theories, lies, and they’re owned by the Falun Gong. Every once in a while a sample issue is sent out with some factual reporting (and a conservative bias, which is fine) to get people to subscribe and fall into the really ridiculous stuff. Re: your bias site, I do not know.

To put some emphasis on something aow said, Falun Gong is a cult. This publication is literally owned by a cult.

I was talking about media bias fact check. I thought the commenter I replied to was saying that site was not reliable.

ohhh, yeah the media bias apps, and services, are not really, truly reliable either. When you dig into any of them they become more and more suspect. From being owned by questionable entities, to just being incompetently run.

Anyone who lives in California can tell you regulations are part of the reason it’s so expensive to do anything here. You think that high speed rail line from LA to SF actually costs as much as they claim? That shit inflated out of control primarily because of all the permits and licensing and fees they had to deal with. Every time they gave a price estimate update the price has doubled and it was/is ridiculous.

I find it really funny when the same people who want the high speed rail so badly also don’t see any issues with the rampant regulations and governmental fuckery.
