Donald Trump’s trade war means that we’re entering a qualitatively new phase in the history of capitalism. Yet the new economic order taking shape will be just as “globalist” as the neoliberal regime it’s supplanting.

    Neoliberalism put all its effort into beating a progressive revolution, only to be beaten by a fascist one.

    Not the death I had planned but maybe now the liberals will see the vacuous nature of their world view and start backing that which can actually beat fascism and keep it beat: social democracy.

      They didn’t even get to the part where Democrats ran on economic populism and simply lied about it to get elected. Smh.
