    Fun fact: Grant Morrison later created an X-Men character called Negasonic Teenage Warhead named after this song! Later versions of the character also remarkably resemble the lady from the video lol

        It’s both! The song Ego the Living Planet is named after the comic book character, but Negasonic Teenage Warhead is named after the song

        Ego the Living Planet was created in 1966, the album Dopes to Infinity came out in 1995, and the character Negasonic Teenage Warhead was created in 2001

        Also, the band itself is named after a kids toy that came out in the 60s lol

    Always got love for a band out of NJ, especially underrated the likes of Monster Magnet. Discovered them randomly at a summer camp when I was maybe 10, some kid was giving out CDs, one of which was Monster Magnet’s Power Trip (and the rest were forgettable). I picked Power Trip in particular because I liked the design on the CD.
