We’re the third largest community on Lemmy, and I see a lot of people around the site asking what exactly this place is. I know we have a sidebar, but maybe a pinned post with an explanation of how the community came about & why every post is titled rule would help

mods pls dont do this,if a user can’t be bothered to open a sidebar they don’t deserve to understand
I’m using the Jerboa app and there is no easily viewable side bar. I finally figured out I could click the upper right dot menu, then something like community info (notably, it is not called side bar) to see this info. Until this space is more user friendly, redundancy is going to be necessary.
