Just noticed it today. I’m not categorically against .ml but I feel like another home might be better as I know many people will refuse to participate on .ml. And also, I guess racing can tend to create political discussion sometimes that might be better in a more… neutral environment.
As long as you’re not on an instance that blocks .ml, it’s just as accessible to .ml users as the existing community. The bigger issue is the fact that the sole mod is inactive since a year.
Having an inactive mod is indeed a problem, especially if we want to see some growth. @[email protected] seems like the most active there recently so maybe try coordinating a move? The reason to move off .ml is less to do with their users and more to do with moderation. Although the main benefit is to be able to say to people “look the community is not on .ml, you can participate”.
