I just realized that G5 is kind of in a can’t-keep-everyone-happy situation.
They could try to ignore G4, and then people will complain about the lost lore to explain how G4 became G5. Some will even call them “plot holes.”
The could dive deep into G4->G5 lore (which they clearly are), and people will complain that it’s just “milking G4,” and “Can’t stand on it’s own.”
I happen to think that it stands fine on its own, and is taking advantage of the rich and fertile soil that is the lore of how G4 turned into pre-G5.
@Lumidaub Better stay away from LOTR then. Just stick to The Hobbit.
