I used to use the /r/television sidebar but it isn’t very comprehensive. More recently I’ve been using Wikipedia’s 2023 in American Television page, specifically the debuts page, which is good. Some other countries have their own pages, such as South Korea.

Know of any other good places?

I see there are equivalent wikipedia pages for British and Japanese TV for the given year including Debuts. Presumably other countries are covered I just randomly checked for those. Thanks for the recommendation . I haven’t got any useful methods to recommend sorry. I occasionally browse other / less known streaming platforms out of interest and sometimes find something different. Belonging to or browsing genre specific groups/subs/magazines etc can be good e.g scifi, documentaries, etc

I am looking for new things to watch at the moment which is what brought me here :)

Sometimes I look at pogdesign.co.uk/cat. I’ve used it for years and I’m surprised it’s still around because I think it’s rather unknown.

I use a site called airdates.tv. I color code shows green if I definitely want to watch and yellow if shows Ill watch if there’s nothing else to do. If I see a show I haven’t heard of, there’s a bunch of links when I click on the show to find out what it is.
