I love literature as much as the next person but sometimes I want to just shut my brain off and immerse myself in a simple engaging story. Any suggestions?

    I just read the land of ingary trilogy by Diana Wynne Jones. Starts with Howl’s Moving Castle (the Miyazaki film is somewhat loosely based on the novel). All three books were fun and sweet and definitely fit the bill for childlike whimsy.
