Batteries will be so important to the grid and our pockets in the near term. Maginal pricing on gas in the UK dominates our bills. Scotland yet again leading decarbonisation efforts of the UK, hoorqy for us!

I’ve been really surprised how controversial this is. There are a couple that are due to be built up here in Caithness and so many people are outraged. I despair for the future.
The only thing I’d ask of them is that they don’t have floodlights on 24/7. Dark skies are very important at night for various reasons. I’d like to see Scotland heading towards being a dark skies nation like New Zealand and others are trying to be.
