Currently, I self limit the hearts I have to only three so the stakes of combat are high for me, so there needs to me another way players are allowed to spend the Lights of Blessing you earn from shrines, such as to add a temporary increased boost to a selected weapons durability or damage.
Granted this game has only been out a month or so, however I’m finding the silver enemies are getting easy to defeat for me, albeit they are damage sponges they not really actual challenges (not trying to brag here apologies).
I’m looking at the mods on the GameBanana website and envious of those guys able to tweak the AI responses and cave brightness to develop a harder game for themselves, and I’m jealous.
Does anyone have any sources of information about any changes or updates to the game that will address the game difficulty?
I really hope they don’t add enemy health regen again for TotK Master Mode. It made so many fights a slog to get through rather than more difficult.
I think your idea of different ways to spend light blessings is really cool! I think I’d also like it if enemies used more weird fusion combos. Like I don’t really worry about enemy archers much in combat since I’m moving around so much, but if they were using keese eyeballs or dazzle fruit on me sometimes, I would have to worry more about positioning in combat or taking them out.
I’m guessing something that fundamentally disrupts the patterns and movements you’ve memorized so well. Think random guardian timing in botw. Maybe messing with flurry rush timing, or dodge, or even perfect guards. Obviously a big boost to health.
I don’t think they’ll use the blessings any differently, this is a tight knit Zelda community, 99.9% of players will never self-limit their hearts lol. If I had my way, it would be a customizable master mode. Give players an option for how hard they want the gameplay to be so everyones happy. Examples would be like whether you want fast travel, limited hearts, stronger enemies, more enemies, inventory caps, maybe even hunger, etc.
Enemies can dodge, parry and flurry rush.
Oh God, no thanks. I couldn’t imagine a silver enemy taking even longer to kill because he’s dodging shit. That kind of ability is reserved for Link and… Not some rag tag bokoblin.
