Canada has updated its travel advisory for the United States, warning its LGBTQ+ residents that they may be affected by some state laws.

  Not yet in Canada but I know that it was successfully argued at least once for a Brit going to New Zealand so you might be able to go there. They seem to have a generally better vibe too (having only lived in one that is).
