to no one’s surprise (I should probably figure out how to post without spoiler though)

This guy is practically unstoppable. Targets one or maybe two races all year, then wins it. It’s impressive, but can he beat Tadej again this year?

I think maybe so. Pog coming off wrist injury, and had modified training for classics. To be honest though I haven’t looked at the route enough to have any idea who it favors

There’s minimal TT Kms so not sure how that affects it. Pogi will potentially have Yates as a double threat which could work really well in his favour. Vingegaard doesn’t have that so can potentially be isolated by those two on some of the mountain stages.

It’s going to be an interesting one for sure. Kind of like last year where Rogliç and Vingegaard were working Pogi over, but with the roles reversed

Granted, Kuss is the best mountain domestique by a long way and an incredible rider, but he’s never really a risk in GC. If he breaks off the front nobody has to follow because he’s not close enough to matter. However Yates is usually up there on GC and if he breaks off the front, there’s a real risk that he could go into the lead.

That said, he could actually be further up the standings this time considering the minimal TT distance this year. It’ll be interesting to watch!

Agree. I think it’s pretty arrogant to think you can bring anything less than your best team (and madness to think your best team doesn’t include rog) and beat Tadej. Maybe Jonas is that good though, excited to find out.
