I had to move from my cool ass apartment in DC for a townhouse way out in the burbs. I miss being part of a community and knowing all the shop owners in the area.
There’s transit service out here, but 30-40 minute headways so…not really. Nothing to walk to closer than almost a mile away and it’s just a shitty strip mall anyway.
No community, just a bunch of people living near each other.
