True but also let’s be honest, sometimes it works great, but sometimes it doesn’t work at all, and sometimes it works but took 100 times as much time and effort.
I def suffer from the “took 100 times more effort” camp. Yes I could have manually done this, but instead I wrote a script, crazy formulas in Excel, etc etc. It’s really just one part of my brain going “there has to be a better way than manually”, and my hyperfocus saying “hold my beer, it will take twice as long and no one will care about your methodology”.
You know, if you think about it, there are a ton of inventions that have been created as a means of that same process of experimentation with divergent thinking. Who knows what you could end up finding out :)

That’s all a part of the process, and sometimes we learn something from it.
almost like we can learn what works for us by testing
Haha, scientific method, yeah
Something could work a thousand times and then just stop working because ???
And then, profit!
Maybe I’m born with it, maybe it’s Maybelline.
