Man the lack of WR1 is really showing right now.
Might be a shootout with our top two defensive lineman out. And now without Kelce, it might come down to our young receivers.
And my opinion is set. Don’t pay Chris Jones, tag him and trade him next year.
One of my first thoughts was, if our D Line shows up, Chris Jones is done negotiating
And my feeling was Chris mighta cooled down their run game and added pressure to goff making this close game swing our way. It’s impossible to say for sure, but jones’ “xfactor” in close games, at the end of games, is what makes him so clutch.
It pains me to say that the chiefs office will most likely see things your way though. I am unaware of any nfl players holding out during regular season games that ended up with long term contracts besides emmit smith, and there probably won’t be a guy in Smith’s position ever again.
Someone correct me if im wrong. Ill be happy to be wrong. But history is telling me my jones jersey will be going in the closet next to charles’

They played hard, but we still should have won. The drops by the entire receiving group was crazy high.
Yeah I’m kinda curious what Mahomes’ comp % was vs his average. A lot of things going on in the game, lots of situational plays & individual ups n downs. but the number of balls boinging off of people seemed way above norm.
