Hi guys, I wondered if any you ever consider shutting down your servers during hot periods, such as we have right now in the UK?.
Personally i leave mine running but as temp creeps up I do sometimes consider a temporary shutdown until temps reduce to protect the drives from excessive heat, just wondered what everyone else does.

My backup server/router is in my loft… I darent even check it’s temps
I leave it unless temps are too high. I’ve checked (and mine is stored in a cupboard with a fan!) and my temps are fine.
I run Noctua’s in an old fractal case everything held at mid-top 30s contemplated climbing inside
