Even Lemmy is slightly catchy and I think will grow on people over time…

but Kbin… i don’t know… i dont like it… remind me of vintage unix distro or something. It sound boring.

    Yeah I get what you’re saying. Being used to Linux and open source I get it, but for regular people it’s not catchy or memorable at all. Also it has bin in the name, word for trash can in UK, Ireland and other places.

    KBin sounds like a name for a trash company in GTA lol.

    That said, I don’t really mind. Lemmy isn’t much better and I think over time, we will see these instances rise and fall. The whole point is that you don’t need to get very attached to the instance you’re on.
