Greetings,
I’m going to stay for a week in the south of sweden (region Kronoberg) at end of september (and maybe 2-3 weeks next year). Most time i will enjoy nature and go fishing. Also planned is to visit a city two times to try typical Swedish food or grab a coffee.
As i don’t want to disturb people, i am afraid of asking if there some behavior that a typical tourist does but he shouldn’t. I already googled a bit but it seems there are not many changes for me as a german.
Perhaps you can tell me some tricks what i should’t do or what i have to do.
Thanks in advance.

Don’t poop on people’s lawns I guess?
You can move pretty freely in nature as long as you don’t walk in peoples yards or on plantations. You can also pick berries and mushrooms. Since you want to go fishing, I think you need a license for that in most cases, and in some lakes fishing is tied to ownership of certain properties, so you need to check that out.
When I was in Germany, cash was king. Here card is king. Make sure you have debit or credit card.

Thanks for the informations. So i try not to poop on other lawns… okay :/
Jokes beside, i have a AirBnB 50m next to a lake with a rowboat. I already saw i can buy the license for fishing at a website called ifiske.
And sadly i don’t have a creditcard and i can’t use my depitcard in sweden. I changed ~300€ to swedish crowns. Hopefully the restaurant accept cash.
In regards to bringing cash, it’s a bad idea. Trust me when I say this, there are literally shops that straight up don’t accept cash. You WILL have a hard time spending that money. If you don’t have a card, maybe you can use an online bank like revolut which offers digital cards.

Restaurants and convenience stores will probably be ok with cash. The real question is travel. I’m not sure about that area, but travelling with a credit card is inconvenient in some areas.

Debit/credit card works fine and any of the Visa or Mastercard types is preferable.
But i would advice to pay Taxi and small obscure businesses with cash to avoid scams, its not very common but it happens.

Restaurants are a bit of a mix if they accept cash or not, so look it up beforehand.
