The U-Turn the BCC has taken is really wild. They were doing group beatdowns while Bryan Danielson laughed maniacally about stabbing people in the face with a screwdriver. Then a few weeks later, they’re faces, taking on heel Big Bill and Ricky Starks.
It’s clear that the Danielson vs Starks strap match was supposed to be CM Punk vs Starks. They’ve slotted Danielson into Punk’s Might Mouse “Here I come to save the day” storyline, and turned him face in the process, dragging the rest of the BCC with him. It makes sense, and the feud still works, but the turning heel u-turn is still jarring.
To be fair, BCC has always been up for beating anyone up.
Yeah I was thinking that until I remembered they’re in Cincinnati. It does seem like they’re turning them but Bryan also has been opposite alignment from them multiple times
I mean, Mox was going to get face pops in Ohio regardless. So it works.
I’m still really struggling to see Starks as a heel, and a lot of that was because it the extremely messy tweener shite they were doing with Punk which thankfully is now over.
Ultimately, Steamboat shouldn’t have tried to fuck on him.
