Decided to check back on things after a coming across a comment saying a month had already gone by. Completely unsurprisingly everything was swept under the rug. The promise to “release findings” seems now nothing but a tactic to shut up anyone calling them out and now they just act like nothing happened.

On the quality issues they still manage to fuck up even with all the “new processes” Won’t surprise me if sooner rather than later they just go back to the regular shitshow.
about as expected from a petite-bourgeois owner of a capitalist corporation. honestly, i do not care that much about gamers nexus allegations (except for that waterblock part) but Madison’s and other employee allegations made me feel gross watching LTT.
keep in mind the comeback video didn’t even have a single mention of employees. i know they are ‘investigating’ and that the ‘investigation’ will find nothing wrong but atleast say that.
Yeah it’s not the same watching after hearing what Madison had to say. I just can’t. Although it’s a bit early to say that they didn’t do an investigation, that takes a lot of time to do right. Plus there’s only so much they’re going to tell the public out of concern for their own public image and to a lesser extent but will be claimed to be the primary reason, to protect Madison and other victims from further abuse.
Not defending Linus here, but expecting a press release about the investigation this soon is pretty ambitious. If they did I’d actually believe them less. Here’s hoping the employees of LMG land on their feet.
