Occupy Wall Street (OWS) was a protest movement against economic inequality that began on this day in Zuccotti Park, located in New York City’s Wall Street financial district, in 2011. It gave rise to the wider Occupy movement in the United States and other countries.

The OWS slogan, “We are the 99%”, refers to income and wealth inequality in the U.S. between the wealthiest 1% and the rest of the population. To achieve their goals, protesters acted on consensus-based decisions made in general assemblies which emphasized redress through direct action.

What are you, one of the reporters filmed interviewing person after person and walking away from each in the middle of questioning until you found a bumbling fool that was perfect to put on national TV?

While I could see your side of things, but that is not what I would expect. Myles Power sometimes guess through the people protesting GMO, roundup, bla and asks them some questions. Some know at least the basics, others nothing. Same with 911 truthers over the years, usually just nonsense, one after another along the fence.
