The specs aren’t something to write home about, but unless you are an avid phone gamer it shouldn’t really matter. But oh man, the repairability is through the roof. Replacing your usb-c port is literally 15€ and 10 minutes of work. Even for a non-techy. And you can still buy Fairphone 2 parts directly from their store, 7 years after it launched. You also get 5 years of warranty. The only way this phone is going to die is if it is shredded to pieces.
The price mostly comes from actually paying fair prices for the materials and not using sweatshops.
