Ever since all those derailing incidents, I’m surprised girls don’t carry at least one spare Alco GP-9. It’s not smart to just assume guys like me that pocket two are going to be there.

the people who say cargo pants/shorts are out of style don’t realize that not having everything jammed in and jingling in 1 pocket is always in style

Don’t look in girls’ bags though. If you do, you may stare into the void for eternity or get eaten by a 6-dimensional space monster.

I see London, I see France, I should buy some smaller pants.

I don’t understand how women cope with the lack of pockets. Purses aren’t enough. Below is an honest list of about what I carry with me every single day.

On my body: Phone Bluetooth headphones in case. Multitool with pliars, screwdrivers etc Regular knife Another multitool but it’s shaped like a card 20,000 mA portable battery sometimes Cord usb-c Cigarettes Lighter Bottled water (back pocket) Comb Wallet (sometimes) Little container for stuff, used to be weed but no more Emergency B.C in case of headache or backache *Emergen-C" packet in case of mild electrolyte deficiency

I haven’t even filled half of my total capacity. I still have 7 empty pockets and 2 pockets are only half full. But that’s not all. I bring a backpack everywhere as well.

Why do you carry 2 different multi-tools and a knife? Not hating, they’re your pockets afterall, I’m just curious lol

Also, all that shit, and the one thing that’s a “sometimes” is your wallet? 😅 “well I’ve got my 20lbs of misc equipment, but eh I think I’ll travel light today, no need to grab my 1oz wallet”

Haha! Funny thing is that my wallet is only a “sometimes” because I also bring a backpack around too so often the wallet is in there for safekeeping along with a zillion other things. Going to update the comment with the backpack comments to elaborate lol.

Oh, and the multitools, That’s a good question! I’m a mobile mechanic and am always needing one or the other. It began with just a knife and has expanded since.

1: The regular knife is for scraping gunk off of bolts, terminals etc. And also has a few edges that are the perfect size for peeling back wires. It also has a bottle opener and flathead screwdriver

2: Multitool #1 has a set of pliars, Phillips head, and a few other things I need and

3: The card shaped/sized multitool also comes in handy as it’s a tiny wrench and has cutouts for tiny bolts so I can remove them. It also functions as a decent putty scraper and has a saw I use all the time. To boot, it’s a ruler as well which is nice for sizing up small things.

I just use them all the time and they save me trips to the truck looking for wrenches/ratchets which is also why I carry the light, hope that explains my strangeness a bit lol

Glad you found a system that works for you! I’m on the dead opposite side of the spectrum, i rarely leave the house with more than phone (w/ wallet case), earbuds, and keys. And if my wife is with me, I generally make her keep the keys in her purse so that I’ve got even less to carry lol

Yes, that would be a nice green flag to me as well. Bonus points if those pockets are filled with very specific items, like little tools that seem excessive or redundant to others but are vital in getting through your day. That’s someone I wanna follow around and learn from

Yeah I usually have a little backpack. I’ll have on me: 1ltr bottle of water, keys, purse (wallet), phone, lip balm, tissues, emergency snacks, painkillers, antihistamines, hairbands, lipstick if I’m wearing any, maybe a light rain coat. Pockets or a handbag don’t do it.

You’d be surprised what can fit in a purse, especially when it’s neatly organised. I think the only things that wouldn’t realistically fit in your average purse would be the headphones (assuming you mean like, over the ear things and not some buds) and maybe the water and the big ass portable battery (I know plenty of women who carry a smaller one though). Also there’s a few redundancies in your kit like the three different pocket knives

Went shopping with the missus in Tenerife. She picked out some jeans and went “are these for men or women, I can’t tell”

“I’ll check.” said I. Put my hands in the pocket. Stopped two knuckles in. “These are women’s jeans.”

Meanwhile, I can fit a Nintendo Switch in my shorts pocket, with joycons attached, and still get the zip closed.

One of the reason for the joycon drift is peoples putting Portugal AFTER the switch
