Am I the only one who isn’t liking the media discourse about Rice being the future captain? A bit disrespectful to Ødegaard who is the captain isn’t it? Let him perform first then speak.

I completely agree. It’s one thing when the current captain is older, so their could be a passing of the torch. But they’re literally the same age.

Leaders across the pitch. That seems to be Arteta’s style.

Neither… I will admit there was a period where I felt like him leaving was the right time. But, I’m so glad he stayed.

He’s been one of the more solid and consistent players over the last couple of seasons.

      I love the guy :(

I think we all wanted him out at one point, but Arteta helped him reinvent himself and he’s become such an influence on our young squad. Glad he at least managed to redeem himself, even if we failed to win him a title

Rice will happen, Friday at the earliest. They’ll want to give Havertz his moment to shine and also it’ll take a minute to do all the photos, videos and articles.

Hands down. I still always felt like it was City’s title to lose. Yes we were in prime position to win, but Liverpool went toe to toe with them multiple times and only won once.

I’m incredibly happy where we are right now. We’ve established some nice groundwork to try push for greater heights! :)

Also, genuine question, I’ve heard TalkSPORT is kinda trashy and click baity. Would that be correct?

Of course it was City’s to lose. First off, barely anyone predicted us making top 4. Once we started the season and we were on fire it was “Arsenal haven’t been tested”. Then came the “they can’t keep this up all year”, followed by “Without Jesus they will fail”.

All year people were quick to dismiss out success and now it’s either we win or it’s a failure. I can’t believe people get paid to talk such nonsense.
