I don’t get it. Can someone enlighten me?

In pepto bismol commercials, you will see the liquid quickly cover the entire surface of the stomach lining when ingested. The joke is that there may not be an outer limit to how far the liquid expands to, and so will exit through your mouth and engulf you, followed by the entire planet.
