      Like the idea, but there has been an attempted youtube alternative for years and has never taken off.

      Hosting bigger media has a ton of problems with it.

      That doesn’t even get into legality, contracts with corrupt law fir-I mean record companies, and an unexplored grey area of federated copywrited material.

    Wow love the very like tired tone that Google takes with saying that this is exactly why they have contractors and that any negotiations are to be handled with their “real” employer even though I literally don’t how see negotiations would work without the company paying the hourly rate out.

    But then again like those employees should know they are absolutely getting ripped off by their contract holder and likely it’s making 3 to 4x an hr than what they actually pay out.
