The movement that helped end Roe is embracing a political strategy that wraps the demonization of trans people in the innocuous-sounding catchphrase “parental rights.”
9 times out of 10 if a child is being abused it is by their parents. Think about that every time these people talk about their right to own their kids. I will vote for the first person who suggests a list of rights for children from their parents. I say this as a parent of two.
A bill of rights for kids is desperately needed in the US.
So much this. Think of it in terms of child custody in family court, parents have and deserve NO rights, the only thing that matters is the best interests of the children. If that’s with mom and/or dad great, if not, so be it. Earn the privilege of your kids, or they will grow up and tell you to F off.

I got through one paragraph, and then my brain started leaking out of my nose. Would it be wrong to lure these people onto a bus and then drive them elsewhere and leave them with nothing?
I hate to admit it sometimes, but yes. They need serious mh treatment.
When the subject is LGBTQ people existing, they say “why do you have to shove your lifestyle in our faces.”
When the subject is Christians trying to enact laws based on their religion, it’s “the law should reflect what we believe despite the fact that other people have different religious beliefs. Why shouldn’t we shove our lifestyle in their faces?”
