I’m undertaking re-creating a video-based subreddit that right now mostly relies on youtube links.
I’ve been setting up a Peertube account to host content, but I’ve realized that most Peertube instances won’t let you host content that you didn’t create, perhaps because they fear copyright violation.
However, reddit’s video uploader seems to have zero checks for this. They are routinely hosting content that the original creator did not provide.
Would Peertube reallty be vulnerable to copyright strikes but not reddit? Or do I just need to find the right Peertube instance?
