I’m surprised how far north the green goes. I think where I live would probably be orange or red, although melts can happen at any time.
A lot of those places are right on the ocean, which dampens the extreme temperatures unless you are at higher elevations. Bergen (Norway) has way more mild winters than Toronto
Also the gulf stream. I still kind of expected Russia to have a shorter warm season than this, at the very least.
Do we have this for the past ten years as well?
