I was on reddit for the better part of a decade. It helped me through a lot of challenges, and I even lost my virginity because of the site.

I just nuked my account and deleted it because reddit is practically unusable on anything but RIF and spez’s greed will bite him in the ass in very short order.

Hopefully Lemmy picks up steam and gets a good portion of the millions of accounts and communities that are leaving reddit today.

Fuck you, spez.

      I should’ve known I’d be asked.

      Not as interesting as you’d think. She posted in a local sub about a niche (non-sexual) thing that I was into. After a few comments, we moved over to DMs and we discovered that we were pretty compatible.

      Met her after a few weeks of messaging and did the deed before our first date. Turned out to be a pretty great FWB thing for about a year.
