Hey dude, thanks so much for your engagement here! I just signed up an account on this instance because I don’t think you would receive my reply if I posted it on lemmy.ml (and your post hasn’t yet reached lemmy.world for me to reply from there).
Lemmy needs to improve its federation performance (at least lemmy.ml does). I see stuff you’re posting reaching lemmy.ml but a lot of stuff doesn’t seem to be getting back to you here. Like the match thread I posted on lemmy.ml yesterday or the comment I left on your post about Cowan suspension. I see your match thread made it to lemmy.ml, but it hasn’t gone from lemmy.ml to lemmy.one or lemmy.world.
The lags and gaps in federation make live sports match threads only seem to be valid for people on the same instance, which is lame.
course always happy to post and engage. Yeah that is lame that there are gaps. I am in the mindset that things will improve going forward. I saw your post on the match thread. I did not however see your comment on the suspension.
Yeah I’m sure it will get better. Just an unfortunate time, with people from Twitter and Reddit looking at alternatives now. I didn’t have a mention in my reply to your suspension post, so it looks like the @ mention in the comment succeeded in forcing the whole post to show up here.
yeah the @ seems to have done the trick which is nice. Yeah social media is a shitshow everywhere else rn.
Interesting, I don’t see the post about Cowan’s suspension either unless I click on the link. 5 days since you posted it and I still don’t see it from lemmy.one. Something’s definitely screwy.
Who are y’all cheering for in this one? I’m a FreeJacks follower, hoping for a Freejacks/Seattle championship.
I’m rooting for Legion today. Seattle has won half the championships so far, the second was against SDL. And they’ve eliminated my Sabercats twice in a row.
