I’d say once people stop talking about reddit.
Its like a boyfriend you broke up with but you can’t stop talking to your friends about.
Go on Reddit and talk about how your new boyfriend Lemmy is so awesome, that way you’re accomplishing something.
Here, we know Lemmy is awesome and here we know Reddit broke your heart.

Just block the communities that focus on Reddit. It doesn’t really spill out into other communities.

I checked and I’d need to unsubscribe from Technology, Shitpost, aww, Showerthoughts, but yeah I have the feeling that it’s already slowly getting better.
Mastodon is even worse. It feels like a quarter of the posts are about Twitter or Musk.
Lemmy will get better with time. We’re getting some amazing clients, which really helps.
