I’ve wanted a badge that shows the instance uptime and couldn’t find any, so I created one. It’s available at https://uptime.lemmings.world/{your-domain}.svg and gets its data from fediverse.observer.

What’s the time window?
Like, is this uptime over the past 30d? Over the past year? For all time?
IMO, 30d and 365d are the most useful windows.
All time. I haven’t checked how to get other data from Fediverse.observer yet, their graphs show data from different points in time, but their api only has documentation for the field
uptime_alltime(which I’m using).
