The entire premise for Elemental just felt bleh. With animated movies there really has to be a good hook tk get people interested and after watching two trailers I’m not even sure what the movie was about.
I get the whole fire girl and water boy thing, but are they getting married, going on an adventure, or something else? I have no idea.
It’s actually a cute story about them getting married and starting an ethnic restaurant apparently. But yeah, definitely let down by incoherent marketing.
