Lucy the dog’s stitches are out and she was very brave,no signs of apprehension, just excitement to meet the other dogs in the waiting room even the ones bigger than her. If anyone has got tips on how to keep a Jack Russell calm and stop trying to run everywhere, let me know:)
Hahaha. Keeping a Jack Russell calm. My tip is you can’t unless you give them small snacks every 10 seconds. They have batteries up their bums. Source. I have one.
My mum had a jrt that did his anterior cruciate ligament when he was kicked during a robbery. The only way we could keep him settled was to either give him a bone from the butcher that was almost as big as him or to be sedentary ourselves so he would be more inclined to sit with us.

Jack Russell and Calm really don’t belong that close together in the same sentence!
Sedation is the only way to keep a JRT calm! Some suggest those lick mat things.

Ohh a bone might work but generally she just gives you a look “ well aren’t you going to cut it up for me?”
